Did You Know?
Each Torah portion (Parsha) has a unique number of verses (pesukim). Our sages have assigned a mnemonic word with the same gematria (numerical value) to help remember the number of verses.
This groundbreaking book delves into the deep connection between these mnemonics, the number of pesukim, and the central themes of each Parsha. Beyond that, every Parsha is accompanied by an inspirational story and a humorous joke, making this book both educational and enjoyable.

Thank You G‑d For Making Me A Woman
Price: $18.95 + $4 Shipping and Handling
Where would the Jewish people be without the discernment and wisdom of Jewish Women — qualities they possess far in excess of men? Time and again, holy texts and real-life experience prove this. “The Talmud reveals that it was in the merit of the righteous women that our forefathers were redeemed from the land of Egypt,” writes the author. “About this, the Arizal explains that the souls of this generation are a reincarnation of those souls, and therefore, the women of this generation will once again bring about the redemption for their people.
This book aims to show that it is a mistaken belief that Judaism values the male contribution to its daily liturgy and life more than the female. In a clear and compassionate style, it lays out traditional observance and new scholarship with simple language. Ultimately, the Jewish Woman’s role as a ubiquitous force in daily life becomes clear: her power is subtle, mystical, and transformative. Her role isn’t marginal, it’s essential.

Was that a...mistake? There are no mistakes in Torah. That said, week after week when reading the weekly Torah portion, scholars and laymen alike encounter broken, enlarged and even missing letters without stopping to realize that the bodies of these oddball letters themselves hold some of the Torah's most cogent life lessons.
A missing "Vav" can teach us how to more closely connect with G‑d; an enlarged letter "Bet" can awaken our receptivity to beauty and change; and a conflict between the way a word is written and the way it is pronounced (kri-ksiv) can afford us a new layer of understanding of the parshah than if that word had been written "correctly" in the first place.
By studying such anomalies more closely, and with the right teacher, we unlock the door to the very structure of Torah.

Letters of Light
Price: $24.95 + $5 Shipping and Handling
As a carpenter employs tools to build a home, G‑d utilized the twenty-two letters of the Hebrew Alphabet, the alef-beis, to form heaven and earth. These letters are the metaphorical wood, stone and nails, corner posts and crossbeams of our earthly and spiritual existence.
In Letters of Light Rabbi Aaron L. Raskin explores the essence of these holy letters, illustrating how they continue to be a source of creation, reflection, prayer and inspiration in our everyday lives.
Each letter is examined in terms of its design, gematria (numerical value), and Hebrew meaning. Rabbi Raskin's insights are guided by the rich foundations of Chasidic philosophy, particularly by the illuminations of Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson, the seventh Lubavitcher Rebbe.
The result is a unique and insightful exposition of how the twenty-two letters of the alef-beis can provide wisdom and guidance for every aspect of our lives.

The Rabbi and the CEO
Price: $16.95 + $5 Shipping and Handling
Leadership is in crisis. In the rough seas of a borderless economy, the Internet, and outsourcing in turbulent markets, a seismic shift has changed the game. The days of the Great Man-whether a Churchill or Kennedy, even a Gates or Welch-are numbered. Virtually anyone can lead now. But how do you breed principled leaders for the twenty-first century? Is leadership a matter of DNA, culture, or coaching?
The answer can be found in the 3,000-year-old tradition of Judaism. Jews are not called the People of the Book by accident. Torah, Talmud, and Kabbalah hold a powerful amalgam of life-and-death leadership stories and astonishingly practical lessons for twenty-first-century managers.
In a unique synergy, Dr. Thomas Zweifel, Swiss Consulting Group CEO, Columbia professor, and author of leadership books like Communicate or Die and Culture Clash, teams up with Rabbi Aaron Raskin, Jewish leader, mensch, and author of Letters of Light, to blend the timeless wisdom of the Ten Commandments with a cutting-edge methodology based on twenty-five years of coaching leaders-a mix that provides winning tools for lasting success.
